01 Acceptance of terms
By accessing redactgate.com or installing the RedactGate browser extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms are issued by RedactGate Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
02 Description of service
RedactGate is a browser extension and associated web service that provides real-time AI data governance for enterprise web browsers, intercepting sensitive data before it is transmitted to generative-AI services. Specific features and capabilities are described on this website and in our product documentation. RedactGate Ltd reserves the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
03 User responsibilities
You agree to use the service lawfully. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, interfere with, or probe the service for vulnerabilities outside of our responsible-disclosure programme. You must maintain the confidentiality of any credentials or tokens issued to you. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
04 Intellectual property
All content on this Site and the RedactGate Extension itself are the property of RedactGate Ltd or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and trade-secret law. No rights are granted to you beyond those expressly stated in these Terms or in a separate written agreement.
05 Warranties and limitation of liability
The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranty of any kind, except as required by applicable consumer-protection law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedactGate Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be lawfully limited.
06 Changes and termination
We may modify or discontinue the service at any time, with reasonable notice where practical. We may suspend or terminate access for any user who materially breaches these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the service and uninstall the Extension at any time.
07 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights under your local law. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
